A:AnswerYour current phone will continue to function as it has until the new phone is activated. If you order the upgrade phone online, it will not come pre-activated as a security measure. You will need to call into Verizon Support on a different phone (not your old or new phone) to activate the new phone.

Please keep in mind that AT&T had an issue in getting their phones to the Best Buy stores in time. I did a pre-order and wasn't able to pick up my phone until 3 days later. So there is a high demand in AT&T phones since they were backed up, therefore some stores are still waiting to be restocked. Hope this information helped.
