Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.To get the $100 promotion you have to sign up for the 24 or 30 month installments. They do not do 2 year contracts anymore where they subsidize the price of the phone. Everyone has to pay full price for these things now. By using the installment plan, or Next as it's called you just have a contract with them to pay off your phone. Getting a new phone does not change your current plan. I will tell you this though, I too was on the old unlimited data plan that was grandfathered in and just recently changed to the new unlimited plan. It not only ends up being cheaper for my wife and I but you get 10 GB of tethering for each phone line, unlimited talk and text and the data cap is much higher. So you might look into switching plans. The reps over the phone were much more informative vs. the in store reps. Hope that answers your question.
