• There's a video on Youtube of two Australian guys comparing this tracker to a Apple airtag and an actual vehicle GPS tracker. Might be worth a look. You can be pretty far away, however, it will require you be in an area where there is cell service.

• If there are devices to ping off it, quite far. Mine has been traced throughout the state, at least 2 hours away sometimes further. Im guessing it would be similar to a second cell phone with specific needs to ping locations but its enough to help greatly
