• Yes, but make sure it has a rubber end. The plastic stylist do not work.

• Yes you should use a stylus. While it works well just swiping and selecting with the finger, it works even better with a stylus.

• You could use any stylus with it, just be careful and don't use the hard tip stylus.

• Yes, you can use a stylus with the Galaxy Tab 4.
