This is an Android 6.0 and will support anything below that, like 4, 5... 16 GB is a pretty good amount of storage space, it'll be fine as long as yo aren't loading it up with Movies and games. But you can also add a micro SDXC card to expand the memory, I bought a 64 GB card for mine.
