If you have internet with your cable company then they should generate a WIFI signal that your tablet should be able to connect to.

Verizon would only provide data to your tablet using a cellular LTE connection. Your cable company would provide data to your tablet using your internet connection over wi-fi, so any wifi enabled device, including this one, will work with any cable company. Where you may have issues, is if you wanted to use your tablet on another cellular network like AT&T, T-Mobile or Sprint, due to different frequencies, or devices being sim-card locked.

Verizon will provide the LTE data while away from home, but our tablet hooks up to our Xfinity Wifi at home really well.

This phone is designed specifically to be used on the Verizon network. This phone will only work with Verizon.
