• Yes you can. I can confirm that you are able to download the Amazon Underground App Store and purchase coins for apps and in-app purchases. This is the reason why I purchased the Android tablet.

• Yes, all you need to do is to download the Amazon app. It's just another app to get you to your Amazon account where you can do everything as you normally would (from the app). You don't have to use the Samsung app. The Google Play store all is also kinda built-in and available.
