Yes it is attached to my samsung phone. You can facetime. I can answer my phone from tablet. But get her the keyboard too.

Unfortunately, FaceTime is only available on Apple products.

However, there are many other options that would do the same thing but works on Android tablets, like this one from Samsung, and Apple products. Options include Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and Google Meet.

As of September 2021, FaceTime is available on Android. However, you won't find a FaceTime app available for download on the Google Play Store or other app stores. Instead, someone with an Apple device needs to create a link to invite you to a FaceTime call.Oct 5, 2023

Facetime is an IPad feature. You could use zoom instead.
