Yes, the watch has always on display (AOD) feature. There are so many watch faces to choose from, you'll be surprised how much data you have in one screen. Screenshot showcases one that came with the watch. There are many others available in the store that are free.

Theres actually over 60,000 watch faces available on the galaxy store for the Samsung watches (and a LOT of them, even the good ones, are free). You will have no problems at all finding an amazing watch face that suits your preference.
