it is IP68 rated. so yes it is fully waterproof. You can swim, take showers, etc with it

Yes, can go swimming but not a diver's watch. Take it off and follow directions on screen to dry it off by swinging it back and forth a couple times to clear the ports. Put it back on and off you go.
