The Heart rate monitor on the Galaxy watch seems to be quite accurate as long as the band is snug enough for good contact with your wrist. I recently had a Heart attack so this feature was very important to me, I have compared the heart rate feature to my blood pressure monitor and they always read within a couple beats of each other as long as the band is snug. I am using the band that came with the watch, it is quite soft and stretchy and even when snug is quite comfortable. Hope this helps..........Rodney
