Yes can answer calls and reply to messages, it has a loud microphone, love this watch

Respond to texts with either preset messages or"type" your own. Takes a little getting used to. As far as Facebook goes I have yet to figure out how to get notifications like I do on other apps.

There are a few emojis and short responses as options that can be chosen or an answer can be spelled out for texts. This works surprising well! I have never tried responding to messages on FB, but would imagine that it is possible if messenger app is installed.
