Yes,the watch must be LTE to receive and send texts or answer calls. It's a great watch and the features are worth the purchase

But if I get a phone call on my phone elsewhere, will it forward to my watch being that it's a different number? Or do I have to give everybody my watch number separate from my phone number and they have to try calling me on both different numbers?
