Since the last update it does it infrequently for me but most of the time it works.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. It is inconsistent. If I go for a 5k walk in my very hilly neighborhood, I get credit for 13 flights of stairs. Spend the day running around my 3 story house and i may get credit for 3. Less than a quarter of my actual trips.
