- Answer I bought a plan with my original Gear. It stopped charging 23 months into the plan. Best Buy refunded me the entire amount for my watch That more than paid for a new Gear S, another 2 year plan, and I have $150 leftover to spend as I like, Yeah, I'm a believer.

Questionhow much per month without adding to data plan?I don't have any contract with any company, I only used prepaid phones. I was wondering how much using the smartwatch as a standalone phone cost per month without connecting to another phone or data plan? I keep hearing different prices so I'm not too sure. Also, the main interest I have in this watch is to make calls and text messaging. Thank you.

- Answer You can not use this watch as a stand alone phone unless you sign a monthly contract wit ATT . Watch only works with Samsung Galaxy S phones

- Answer If you want to use it with the Bluetooth only, you are really missing out as you have to have your phone with you all the time. The beauty of having the cellular is so you can go places without the phone and be able to do things you do with the phone. Now when I travel or out of my house, I use the watch and my cellular based Samsung Note Tab. Having the CELLULAR capability is what make the Samsung GearS unique.

- Answer As far as Bluetooth..yes. if sprint, tmobile, verizon, or at&t works in Germany then yes. If not then no. Hope that helps.
