A:Answer The Samsung Gear S3 does connect to wifi, (it seems to default to the wifi settings you have on your phone) and the advantage to this is that you can still use most of the apps on the watch even if you aren't connected to your phone. I don't usually take my phone to the bathroom with me, but I can still see who "liked" my latest Instagram while I'm conducting business on the porcelain throne, because I get wifi signal in there but no cell signal.
