A:AnswerGear S3 is compatible with IPhone 7 Plus. You have to download the Gear app from store and sync the S3. i have been using it for a month without any issues. I would recommend getting the S3.
A:AnswerI actually own both. Since getting the Gear S3, I don't really use the Gear Fit2 so much. The added functionality (including Samsung Pay) along with the beautiful and functional design make it an excellent daily driver. I am more than pleased with my purchase of the Gear S3.
A:AnswerBy simply looking at the model number for example a Verizon S3 frontier watch will have SM-R765VDAAVZW (VZW for verizon) as the model number. The regular watch model number is SM-R760NDAAXAR. And for the S3 classic the model number is SM-R770NZSAXAR for the non Verizon watch and SM-R775VZSAVZW for the Verizon watch.
You would not be able to tell the difference by simply looking at them so just look at the model numbers instead Verizon watches will end with VZW and non Verison model end with XAR. Hope that helps!! Also keep in mind that you can still make a call with the Bluetooth watch as long as it is paired with your phone and in the Bluetooth range.
A:AnswerWell since you're asking if your teacher can possibly take this watch away from you, I'm guessing you're in middle school. Besides that, yes they will if you're on it too much getting distracted from school work. No if you're smart about it. You can listen to music on Spotify while you are on Wi-Fi on the watch without downloading the songs (from the built in speaker or by using bluetooth earphones).
A:AnswerYes. The Samsung Gear S3 is rated IPX8. This is better than other watches such as the iWatch which are IPX7. A quick internet search will explain the difference in better detail than I can.
A:AnswerI chose to forgo the carrier option since they charged an extra amount to you bill. Plus the phone I have is a company issued phone so I didn't have the option to add the service. You can choose between connecting with the carrier or via bluetooth. While i'd be great to have the device act independently, the bluetooth option is sufficient for my needs. I also spoke with the phone carrier who said that they could add the feature later on if I so choose. I hope this helps :)
