I don't know if this helps much, but I have a very slender wrist (6 1/2 inches around) and there are still three holes available...

Not sure about actual length but also can just buy any 22mm band and have one of those watch kiosk places at mall put it on for you, the band is detachable just like a normal watch (this is not true for the Moto 360, great feature of this watch!)
