• The unequivocal answer to your question with regard to making calls in Ireland and to the U.S. is you definitely won't be able to use this device for this purpose. The Verizon Wireless "Samsung Gusto-3" cell phone cannot be used anywhere outside of the United States, since it is not globally capable.
