• A:Answer Hi there FredSecret77! You can activate Night Mode reduces the overall volume of the audio, especially bass, to help you watch TV at night without disturbing others. There are multiple ways to control the bass levels for your new Soundbar. 1) Using the WOOFER button on the provided Soundbar remote. Use the woofer button by pushing forward or pulling backward on the button itself to adjust the bass levels between -12 or -6/+6. If you want to reset the bass to 0 then push the button in. 2) When you press the TONE CONTROL button, you can adjust the treble or bass levels between -6/+6. Alternatively, you can adjust all of these same settings and more within the SmartThings app. Download the app for your iOS or Android device and then connect your Soundbar to Wi-Fi. From here, you will be able to adjust all of the same settings as the provided remote, but with the added benefit of being able to see the changes on your smart device. Q: QuestionHi, Can the 700D sound bar be controlled with the remote that comes with a Samsung - 55" Class QN90C Neo QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV? Or must you use the remote thaat comes with the sound bar? Thanks

• A:Answer Hi Jim, As long as your soundbar is connected to your TV with either an optical cable or HDMI via ARC, you can control the volume and mute the soundbar using your Samsung TV's remote. 1) Use the TV remote to navigate to Settings, select Sound, and then select Sound Output on your Samsung TV. 2) Select your Samsung soundbar, and then select Close. Now you can use your TV remote to adjust volume and mute the soundbar. The soundbar should also turn on and off with the TV. By default, Samsung TV remotes should be able to control Samsung soundbars. If it isn't working, be sure the soundbar is powered on, and then press and hold the WOOFER button up until "ON - TV REMOTE" appears on the display (about 5 seconds). Next, you'll need to choose between connecting with an optical cable or an HDMI cable. • A:Answer Hello there sabbel! To pair your subwoofer with the Samsung HW-S700D soundbar, start by plugging in both the soundbar and subwoofer and turning the soundbar on, these devices are designed to pair automatically. When connected, the LED on the back of the subwoofer will turn solid blue. If it doesn’t connect automatically, you can pair it manually: • Turn OFF the soundbar • Press and hold the ID SET button on the back of the subwoofer for about 5 seconds until the LED blinks blue • On the soundbar remote, press and hold the Up button for about 5 seconds • The soundbar will power on and complete pairing (solid blue light confirms connection) If you’re still having trouble, try placing both units closer together, power cycling them, or checking for interference. ~ Samsung Solutions

Q: QuestionThe compatible 9200S rear speakers are no longer available, and Samsung's newer rear speakers are not compatible with this soundbar. Any solutions to this, or am I out of luck? Just bought this soundbar NEW less than a month ago...

I brought back the Samsung soundbar i had just purchased and Best Buy gave me my money back even though my 2 week return policy was up. They said if Samsung doesn't make any speakers for your soundbar they must give you money back!

Q: Questioni’m trying to connect this to my Apple TV 4K 3rd generation via Wi-Fi or Airplay 2 but having no luck for it to show up as an option The specification say it has AirPlay 2 compatibility, I need Wi-Fi since Apple TV is connected to a projector for Dolby

• A:Answer Hi MB! The HW-S700D does support AirPlay 2, but it must be connected to your home Wi-Fi network before it will appear as an option on your Apple TV. To set this up, download the Samsung SmartThings app, add the soundbar, and connect it to the same Wi-Fi network your Apple TV is using. Once both devices are on the same network, the soundbar should show up under Apple TV → Control Center → AirPlay/Audio Output. If it doesn’t appear right away, try restarting both the soundbar and Apple TV after setup. Please note that AirPlay 2 only streams stereo audio, not full Dolby Atmos. For true Dolby Atmos, an HDMI or eARC wired connection is recommended when possible. ~ Samsung Solutions
