QuestionIs my battery defective? It is only lasting 10 mins Max and its brand new. What can I do to make it last longer other than buying a spare battery?

- Answer Definitely it is defective, or device is not charging it ..we get easily about 40 minutes in the medium setting.

QuestionDoes this have a tangle free roller for pet hair? Can it pick up excess litter from around the pan without dying?

- Answer I do not have a cat so I cannot speak to the litter question. However, I feel like it would be fine picking up litter, especially with one of the attachments. Also, I have 6 dogs and it does great picking up hair, dog food, etc. It does go dead pretty quick if you run it on max, which is what I use because we have thick rugs. It would probably get the 40-45 minutes if you ran it on normal.

QuestionThis vacuum was working great then all of a sudden it shut off and it won’t charge. I have checked all things to ensure it is all on correctly, cleaned it out but won’t charge at all

QuestionI purchased an extra washable micro filter for my vac. Original is dark blue, extra is light blue. Fit is perfect. With the light blue the vacuum will not come on and shows a red filter light. Looks and is exactly the same. Why won’t it work.

QuestionWe purchased this vacuum last Sunday. It would only stay charged 10 minutes. We returned it and got a new one. Same thing- charged battery lasts 10 minutes.

That would only stay charged 10 minutes. The charging process for your vacuum is pretty self-explanatory. Power at one end gets stored in the battery of your vacuum so it can operate without a power cord trailing behind it. If your vacuum does not charge, the most common reason is that it is not connected properly. QuestionWhich attachment would work best with a shag carpet?

- Answer I use the main roller head for our thick shag rugs. It does way better than our normal vacuum (it gets stuck every time). This glides over easy. I do have to run it on max suction which drains the battery quicker.

- Answer The Samsung vacuum is much easier to clean, clear blockages and the FULL filter and dust bin is all washable. I returned my Dyson because the battery on high would not hold a charge. Since i’ve had it, I have used it heavily and I have never ran out of battery! There’s also the cost.. :)

QuestionAccording to the instructions, the washable micro filter needs to dry for 24 hours before re-use. Where can I purchase extra filters? Samsung refers me to J&J Int'l who refers me to Samsungparts.com who say there is a national backorder.
