If the hub is not far away is almost instantaneously.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I installed two of these, to turn on two separate lights. Each time, when it works, it turns the lights on within 1 second. Almost instantaneous. However, it doesn't trigger every single time. About 90-95% of the time, yes, but occasionally it just doesn't.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Don't add any delay to the trigger and the lights will be turned on immediately. On the other hand, there is a 10-second delay to turn the lights off after it stops detecting motion. Also, keep in mind that it is a motion sensor not a presence sensor which means that it will detect a person walking into the basement but if the person stops moving then the lights will turn off on them.
