• Yes, be sure to activate the MS Office, student addition. Good fast processor, not optimized for gaming, but a good PC. There is no DVD drive but I bought a stand alone to use for uploading software on DVD and uploading music CDs. Speakers are good, not great.

• It would be great, just the right size and it is not just a pc but a tablet too! I love it after having Dells. My 8th grader loves it and does a lot of homework on it. Yes I would definitely recommend it. I have no complaints.
