A:AnswerOpen the back by first remove 4 screws under each rubber foot, then carefully pry open the case. I started by the side under the display. Samsung is very kind and considerate by not only providing you with an empty 2.5 slot for storage upgrade, but the cable and necessary fixtures are all present. I saw mixed answers to the upgradability of this laptop before the purchase, you can guess how excited I'm when I open the case and saw inside for the first time. I really wanted this laptop because it's display quality surpasses many other laptops cost a lot more. Dropped a 2 TB Crucial SATA SSD in the slot, works perfectly. Enjoy your upgrade too!
(2.5 slot is on the lower right side with metal cover and 4 screws attached to it)
A:Answeryes, you can purchase an additional ssd to install which just acts like another drive in the computer, but gives you the additional space I personally bought a 1TB for mine so I know you can buy one that goes up that high in memory at least, and there are smaller ones available if you don't need that much memory.
A:AnswerI posted this question and this notebook does NOT have a fingerprint sensor. I don't know why Samsung's reps say different things but I've had to OTHER Samsung reps say it doesn't. It's ridiculous. What terrible customer service.
A:AnswerThis was very confusing for me too. Samsung has a bunch of different versions of the NP750QUA-K01US, according to their specs page. This particular one says it has "8 GB DDR4" vs "8 GB (Onboard)", the latter probably being LPDDR (soldered). A teardown of this specific one shows 2 SO-DIMM slots (removable), each with a 4 GB DDR4-2400 stick. Based on earlier laptops in the series (like the NP730), the max should be 32 GB. But Crucial doesn't have a memory compatibility page for this yet, so that's just a guess.
A:AnswerThis unit does not come with additional hardware. The software includes Windows 10 Home, Link Sharing, McAfee Live Safe (60 days trial), Samsung Gallery, Samsung Message, Samsung Recovery, Samsung Settings, Studio Plus, Samsung Update, and teamPL.
A:AnswerThe fingerprint reader is the same as the power button. Instead of pressing the power button, you simply place your finger on it without pressing the power button. You will have to set this option up in the settings before it can be used as a fingerprint reader.
