You can connect a secondary DisplayPort or HDMI to your PC and enable PIP mode. This will allow you to run the single monitor as if it's 2 16x9 1440 displays in Windows. This allows you play games in full screen on one side of the display and you office apps on the other. Do note that when going into PIP mode it's a bit buggy, I have to make sure my second display cable is disconnected before swapping to PIP mode. Swap first then reinsert second cable back into your PC. Do note this disables G-sync and max refresh rate is 120hz. You could also use Fancy Zones on the display to divide your screen into preset positions, I personally love this feature, highly recommended but doesn't work with full screen applications.
