• Yes, you can utilize USBC TO Display port. Note the USB-C ports on the monitor are for PERIPHERALS ONLY

• Yes it does. I have an M2 Max and the HDMI is very finicky. I was forced to use a Thunderbolt to DP cable to achieve the full res, 240hz & 10 bit color with HDR.
