Nope. It NOT clean all carpets. If carpet has edges with brushes, it stops and produces error. Added sample. It's bad and makes me angry. How much stupid solution is to hang on such simple things. :( Also it hangs on doorsteps if they are higher than 5 mm. Don't read manual, it's not true on this paper.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In principle, it should work on all carpet types. Worked quite well on mine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All vacuum robots, and even regular vacuums, can have problems with fringes on carpets. Generally robots cannot operate on deep pile carpets. Samsung even gives a specification of 1cm, too conservative found in practice. Samsung's larger wheels make it unique in handling slick carpets at which others fail. Very fluffy premium bath rugs still cannot be navigated. One special problem applies to black carpets or black pattern sections. The light beams used to detect cliffs, stairs etc., are absorbed so the robot sees them as cliffs. The solution is to cover the cliff sensors with light colored tape for a false floor, and if there are cliff place a physical barrier. Most black materials do not produce this problem but carpet seems to be especially absorbent.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It easily goes from hardwood to carpet to over area rugs although might get stuck on the fringes of a rug.
