QuestionMy neighbors below gently complained about the noise my Roomba made going across the floor....not so much the machine itself (I think). I have heard that this machine is quieter bumping into things and moving across grout ridges in my tile floor?

- Answer My new upstairs neighbour's (bless their hearts) have a roomba and it's unbelievably loud and annoying. The biggest concern is that a normal person with a normal vacuum takes about ten minutes, while this thing bops around making ridiculous amounts of noise for over an hour at a time. That they also set it to auto clean starting at 8am while they are away on vacation is just rude as all heck.

- Answer Yes it does, however, I'm not having much luck with it - so far I have had it try to make a floor plan 5 times, and only one even vaguely resembles my apartment. The most rooms it has given me is 3, with most coming in at 1 or 2 rooms; my apartment actually has 4 or 5 - depending on how you count it. There is no way to modify anything about the map the bot creates, other than naming the rooms. Also, if it gets stuck, you have to start the mapping process over from the start, even if it was 90% done. The 5 maps I have made took 8 tries total.

QuestionI am having issues with my Samsung powerbot. It tends to go in circles instead of straight lines. It worked well for the 1st 6 months or so. What do I need to do to make it work right again?

- Answer I had mine do that too, sensors were dusty. Clean the unit of any dust and try again. It goes in circles because it thinks something is in its way and its trying to find a way around it when its just dust.

- Answer If you're comparing it to the Samsung SR2AJ9040U POWERbot Wi-Fi Robot Vacuum, then I say the biggest difference is double the suction power. The warranty on the 9350 is 10 years vs the 1 year the SR2AJ9040U comes with. They both come with Wi-Fi capability that you can control the bot via an app. However the 9350 you can designate areas to be clean (like a specific room/rooms) while I'm honestly uncertain regarding the SR2AJ9040U. When I did my research on the 9350 (on black friday) it seemed this was the only bot that had this awesome feature, which made me buy it. Being able to send the bot to clean the living room when guest were coming on short notice saves me the stress of getting home an hour before them. I live in a 5,000 sq ft home and takes my little bot some time to do it all which is why this feature was very desirable. Hope that helps

- Answer No side brushes but I wouldn't let that stop a potential purchase. It has as a lot of suction power along with side channels to allow debris from the sides to be swept in. Hope this is helpful.

- Answer Yes, that is the 9350. My wife loves it. It really gets the floors clean. Our only problem with it is our dog, she attacks, it turns around and goes away. HAHAHA!

- Answer Yes it has a remote with a sort of laser pointer where you can aim on the desire area to be well vacuumed. & with it you can pretty much guide the bot to chase your kids if you wish lol

- Answer The roller on mine comes out with two little tabs and has a plastic spacer built into it that lets you slide scissors or a knife under and hair or string tangled around it. I have a cat, dog and two girls with long hair and it works great

- Answer No, at least not under my couch or any normal sized couch I have seen. It is taller than competing models. However I did choose the Samsung unit knowing this because of the large capacity bin because I have a long hair dog that sheds a lot. It works well picking up dog hair and keeping the floors clean as long as you empty the bin regularly.

- Answer The period is for 10 years through Samsung and that only covers the motor. You should have received a sticker on your vacuum or a separate piece of paper showing the 10 year warranty on the motor. Now, if you purchased the 4 year additional warranty through geek squad (as I always do), then it covers your vacuum bumper to pumper. Hope that helps.

- Answer It will stop and backwards, most of the time. There is red line that you can install for unwanted locations Once the robot reaches this line it will turn immediately

- Answer Just following up. After a few tries (took 3 recharges to complete) we ended up with a decent floor plan. What I did was declutter the floors as best as I could (chairs on the tables, moved dog beds etc.). I also reduced the suction to quiet to extend the battery life. I ended up relocating the robot to a central part of the house as opposed to a spare room on the far side. After initiating it seemed to prefer this method and mapped part of the house and recharged. You have to leave it alone and not mess with the app (will say making floor plan). It took a while and the result was actually pretty good. Keep in mind that the floor plan will not look exactly like your house. I have large gaps in mine and some rooms are combined which is fine with me. The gaps resulted from stairwells and closets not being mapped (closed those doors). So while it doesnt look like my blueprints, it did a pretty good job showing the areas that are actually accessible to it and divided them up accordingly. My pie in the sky wish would be that Samsung makes the floor plan creation tool available to us as consumers so we could tinker and perfect it the way we want.

- Answer Hey, 2 solutions if battery are ok: Try the charge Button on it, Otherwise use the software (tablet or mobile), ans click on charge Burton action. If battery are low: May be you can charge it manually , but installing it on power station, then switch it on, ans presse play Button to see the charge. Good luck

- Answer the Battery is: DJ96-00193D Li-ion rating of 21.6v, 97.2wh, and 4500mAh. i could not find a replacement for it other than EBAY. only lasted 2 years.

- Answer I have 80% tile and 20% carpet. The transition from carpet to tile is roughly an 2.5cm(1 inch) rise with no issues. We have a small rug that is at the front door and it does well on it too.
