  • QuestionIs this phone gsm o cdm

    Asked by Johnny.

    • Answer Verizon is still a CDMA company but their phones have a global mode which makes them unlocked (meaning they have GSM capabilities)

  • QuestionDoes this phone have a clean esn? can it be activated at verizon easily?

    Asked by Amy.

    • Answer If the esn were to be bad, best buy nor any company would be able to sell them or even accept them as trades or something. Refurbished just means someone may have changed their mind about the color or the memory size and exchanged, possibly just returned. But in doing so, the service from the previous person would already have either been moved to the new device or canceled from the phone already

  • QuestionHi, Is this unlocked phone? or do i have to use only verizon with this phone..?Hi, Is this unlocked phone? or do i have to use only verizon with this phone..?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer I previously worked in the mobile department at best buy before so I can tell you this from experience. Basically any 4GLTE device you buy is going to take a sim card because the sim card is what makes it possible. Verizon is the only carrier who's 4GLTE phones are unlocked because they have a global mode. However, sprint phones are linked to their sim so you would have to unlock them (both verizon and sprint are considered CDMA but with 4GLTE they can be used as GSM). I now own this device and I'm using it with at&t with no problems
