I'm not sure how you would use it with Alexa. It can be used with SmartThings, which can be connected to Alexa... But, all of the events and modifications I use this device for have been through SmartThings. I have SmartThings, Phillips Hue, Logitech Harmony, and Alexa... and use them to control lights, entertainment center, etc... Alexa can be used to control each of those devices verbally, but the presence sensor is only used (in my setup) as a marker for SmartThings to run events (when "x" arrives or leaves)...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes. add skill in alexa app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It can be used with smartthings to create routines to get notifications or trigger lights and so on but your question is a little too broad, smartthings works with Alexa. There are currently no commands through Alexa to request the status of the sensor though. I use my sensor to see when my child arrives/departs
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Alexa's integration with Smartthings is usually based around On/Off switches, not necessarily sensors. Alexa doesn't really "do" anything to a sensor. Idk what the use case would be for voice controlling a sensor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need the Smart Things hub to get them to worth together, but if you have that, yes, they work together. But the better way of phrasing it would be "They both connect to the smart things hub"
