Smartthings is installed on my phone with my credentials. My wife installed the app on her phone using her own credentials. On my ST app I enabled her, specifying her phone number, to have access. She has full access and can receive push notifications and txt msgs along with me. There may be other ways on how to achieve joint msgs but this worked for me.

I'm sorry this isn't a clear-cut answer, but keep reading for my best explanation. For just about any action, you can configure a text notification.
