Hi, having been looking for a replacement dishwasher for about a year, I found that this model was the best on the market, I spoke to friends who had purchased Bosch, and they seemed happy but I have always been a fan of Samsung. This dishwasher is SO quiet its unbelievable, the only way you really know that it is running is sometimes there is a slight noise when the cycle is in rinse mode, (draining into my disposal) other than that its the blue light on the front. It was very easy to install, with the help of a friend who thought it would be funny to show up with a "sledge hammer" and "adjustable wrench" to help me remove the old one.....LOL If you need to add another item you just open the door and add the item. The quick wash is 60 minutes and works great I am one who has always rinsed my dishes before I put them into the dishwasher One other nice feature is that if you leave the dishwasher on when you return the door automatically opens to help dry the washed dishes - FYI, this is a setting on the dishwasher.
