A:AnswerThis Samsung storm wash dishwasher doesn't have a cal rod heater on the bottom of the open space like the cheaper models have ( and my old Kenmore had). So, it dries by heating the water real hot and only seems to dry by popping open and have a little fan blow the vapor into the room. It may leave some water in there that may get stale, but we don't smell ours as we use it every other day.
A:AnswerHi Jo! This dishwasher does have a filter. While the filter does not need to be cleaned after every load, it may occasionally become clogged. If this happens, you can use the steps in this link (https://bit.ly/2E6ihJf) to clean it. ^Jecca
A:AnswerIt's in your owners manual, English pg 25. I love this D/W! I use the Express 60 all the time and does a great job. I do rinse my dishes. I also like the feature of the lower rack washing option.
A:AnswerThat would frustrate me too! The door on my unit stays open and down without having to weight it with the lower rack. I'll go out on a limb here and guess that maybe your springs aren't set right. I have not seen any mention of this in the Owner's and Installation Manuals. I'd try contacting Samsung directly (or a certified repair service).
A:AnswerI am not a professional installer, but I have installed Ikea kitchens. I would not recommend doing this for a few reasons. 1) In a standard kitchen, the dishwasher fits flush with the countertop - not with other cabinet faces - so the Ikea front would probably stick out beyond the counter. Make sure you measure the depth very carefully and allow for ample clearance in the back of the appliance (check with Samsung). 2) Ikea fronts should be screwed onto appliances. There are no holes for screws in the front of this appliance. 3) The dishwasher has an exceptionally clean and slick front. It will blend in perfectly with Ikea cabinets appearance-wise and look quite stylish.
If you MUST have an "all the same front custom" appearance, purchase an Ikea dishwasher. It's a matter of personal taste, but you're not fooling anyone going with a super expensive custom cabinetry look but using Ikea cabinets. I like Ikea - but there's a big leap between custom and modest, yet practical. I saw a million dollar home with an Ikea kitchen and could tell right away. It didn't do the house any favors.
A:AnswerI have the same issue. The only time the inside isn’t warmer than room temperature is when I unplug the dishwasher. The warmth occurs regardless of how long ago the dishwasher was run.
