A:AnswerThere is the control panel lockout feature to disable the controls, but per Samsung's Support site, you can disable the AutoRelease function by going into the programming mode on the control panel. Go to Samsung's Support website and search for the model number and AutoRelease for instructions.
A:AnswerMy hot water takes a good 2 minutes to arrive at my sink (thus dishwasher) this time of year when it's cold out. Five or ten minutes seems a bit long to accomplish that. I make sure there's hot water running from the tap before turning on the DW.

A:AnswerThat is a leak code. Ours leaked out the door and register that code. It took a week of letting the dishwasher air dry before the code would finally clear. Now our dishwasher will not drain at all. We are considering just replacing vs spending the time and money trying to fix this model. There are more things about it I don't like than I do and it shouldn't be breaking down 16 months after purchase.
A:AnswerThe finishes are slightly different but I bought the Samsung dishwasher (little darker) with the rest of the appliances being the LG black stainless. My dishwasher is 3 feet from the stove, but you can't see the difference unless you know it. Bought the Samsung dishwasher due to the better reviews also.
A:AnswerI don't believe so they make them in plain black non-stainless steel. We bought other kitchen appliances from the same Samsung lineup 3 years ago and don't remember seeing other options.
