- Answer Streaming is a breeze with this Samsung 4K DVD player. Setup is easy, virtually plug and play with my Samsung QLED TV. The pictures are beautiful and the sound is great. Make sure you get a 4K HDMI cable with it. I bought the mid price cable and am happy with it.

QuestionI just bought this player. We still have dvd’s and the box said this was backwards compatible. All of our Blu-rays work but not regular dvds. Is there something I can try to fix this?(Our dvds work on other blue ray players)

QuestionThis player says Dolby Atmos which is why I bought it to use on my Samsung NU800 TV and HW-N950 speakers which are both Atmos, however when I play my Atmos movies there is no up sound! But, I get it when I play Amazon Atmos movies. Anyone have this issue?

QuestionDoes this model play dvd and Blu Ray discs from all regions? I do not see that as a feature on Best Buy site, but the samsung k8500 shows that it has this capability on other sites I have checked/researched. Please advise.

QuestionI am having an issue passing audio through the optical cable directly to a 6.1 receiver. The only way that I can get the sound to my receiver is via the optical out of the tv. I have a Samsung 75nu8000.

- Answer It definitely is not, if you have Region B Blu rays it will not work. Why you were probably taken here is that 4K UHD Blu Rays are Region Free. But nothing else will work, I tried playing my Region B Arrow video titles and they wouldn’t work

- Answer No. You need a wifi router to send the data to the blu ray player, as with all wifi electronics.
