A:AnswerChecking the model number it shows it came out in 2012. The evolution kit's owners manual says some 2013 high end models and 2014 UN-- HU6000 AND UP MODELS. So, I don't think it would work.
A:AnswerI have a UN55HU8550 television, and after adding this kit my TV was updated to be able to do HDR. Based on that info I would believe it will make your TV good for HDR also.
also note that while it upgraded my television it did take away a few of the features I did like. as I did like being able to use the display button on the old remote to get info on the current picture on screen.
A:AnswerYes it will work if you think that SEK2500U One Connect Evolution Kit is the only problem that you are having. With the SEk-3500, you are literally upgrading Hardware and it is as good as buying a new TV. My Samsung TV was 9000 HU bought it 3 years ago just for its future upgradability.
A:AnswerAccording to the manual that came with this unit, it says: Compatible models : Models released in 2013: S9, F9000.
Models released in 2014: HU6900 or higher models. I hope this helps. Samsung's own website is very vague.
A:AnswerNot sure. Is your display set for it? If your display is a 10 bit system it might. If it's a 8 bit system probably not. It also depends on whether the Xbox can display it. Not much info from Samsung or anybody else.
A:AnswerI don't think so. There's no analog audio jack on the device that I can see. It does have USB 2.0, so it might be possible to use a USB audio adapter, but I have no idea if that would work.
A:AnswerTonyg, Please feel free to include the model code and serial numbers of your device in the Support Form: http://smsn.us/SamsungSupportUSA and we will respond accordingly. ^Heath
A:AnswerIt will connect, look under supported devices if your model is supported, maybe order it, hook it up and roll the dice like I did I have a 60 inch 8550.
A:AnswerYes, it also activated the 4k my Xbox one s improved picture, along with the apps that come with the uhd kit like vudu now in 4k Amazon and Netflix are also showing a lot of titles with 4k.
