“Is the SWA 8500 compatible with a Samsung HW R470 soundbar? I am having great difficulty and have tried troubleshooting it but still nothing.”

i can not help with that i have the Samsung Q60 and it is compatible sorry cant help...but it did help a lot to make it a true surround sound system
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure but I'm thinking that your soundbar is not compatible with the wireless rear speaker kit. I attached a picture of what I found on Samsung Support page. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00049236/ I Also seen where some Soundbars may have to have a device called a dongle attached to be able to receive the signal from the rear speaker kit.
