Can the person who answered your question that they work with the Q60R please expand on the connection and settings of the Q60R and 8500S speakers? I bought these about three weeks ago and I haven't been able to get the soundbar to work with the rear speakers. The sound comes out well out of the soundbar but nothing comes out of the rear speakers.

If you know the model #, you can look the rear speakers up on Samsung's website and view the compatibility list. The list doesn't include the newer Q series but I can confirm that the q60 and q70 do work with the rears.
