“How many watts is the output for these two speakers? Also, could I splice the wires and connect a couple more small desktop speakers for added surround sound? Thinking to piggy back off of the wireless capability but I don’t want to overdue it”

I barely can hear the output. My suggestion is NOT to piggy back of this unless you have a separate amplifier to run extra speakers.
