I dont believe you can use these speakers with any other hardware, other than the Samsung soundbar they are designed for. I know the description says certain Samsung soundbars. I have 3 pairs of these and they are all paired with the 550 series bar. You should verify with the guys at BestBuy before you buy them.

It connects to the sound bar (like the HW-N650 model I have) to upgrade the sound bar to 5.1 surround sound from the 3.1 my model of sound bar is capable of. It won't work alone from my understanding. Try looking at more reasonably priced sound bars instead. I hope this information helps
