• A:Answer The sound is not as loud as the front sound bar, but there was someone that has made the rear sound a lot better by connecting the rear speakers to a small amplifier so it will make it louder. From the speaker out port of the swa-8500 connect to input of amplifier then output of amplifier to speaker. They used Pyle PCA2 amplifier to really boost the sound. Look up their video on YouTube. Hope this helps.

Q: QuestionI have seen comments about the speaker wattage output being 54 Watts. Operating Power Consumption (Wireless Module) is 54 Watts (per Samsung website). This is not the speaker output, but how much wattage the wireless module consumes when powered on.

• A:Answer Hi SnowMan! The Rear Speaker wire has a proprietary clip that clips into the rear transmitter box and makes it more difficult to extend the length of the cables. If you are trained in how to extend and work with cables of that sort, they are standard speaker wiring with the proprietary clip on the end and can be extended; however, once the clips are cut off, the warranty is void. ^Gina
