Yes it will but you will have to have a 2.5" mounting system for a hard drive so it will mount in the 3.5" slot or you might have a 2.5" slot available depending on how you case is designed. Some SSD drives come with mounting system for desktops but this particular one do not.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it absolutely will work for a desktop PC, as long as it has a SATA connection (it would have to be a pretty old PC to not have SATA). You MAY run into an issue with mounting the drive in the desktop tower, but they are very lightweight and very shock resistant, so it isn't a big deal to just let it sit in the tower if you aren't moving the computer around frequently. Or even get some velcro or something. :-)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes it will work on any desktop with a sata II or SATA III connector. VERY IMPORTANT. NEVER under any circumstances attempt to fragment this type of hard drive. another word of caution. currently there is an issue with a windows 10 upgrade that if you use a split OS set up. meaning using a SSD drive for the operating and a regular drive for programs the regualr drive may no longer be accessible. if this is the case microsoft recommends removing the update and not allowing it until the issue is resolved.. lastly if you are going this route for a primary drive just fork out the cash and buy the largest one you can afford. it has been shown the larger SSD drives hold up better over time as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used this as a replacement product in my HP desktop.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Definitely. But you may need to purchase a 3.5 to 2.5 bracket so the SSD fits nicely in a standard desktop 3.5" hard drive slot if your desktop does not have a 2.5" slot
