QuestionCan you briefly explain how this works with an iPad since there is no USB port?

- Answer It works wireless with an app that you download to your iPad, but you don't need wifi to use it. It just sends its own wireless signal back and forth to your iPad. So it doesn't physically connect to the iPad. The USB works with a desktop or laptop. You can download a movie from a desktop, then play it wirelessly on your iPad.

QuestionIf you have a 16GB USB can you buy a 32GB or 64GB....I I have a 16GB USB and want to increase the storage can I put a 32GB Micro in and use or can I only use the original size?

- Answer I bought the 32 gig version and swapped out the microSD card for a 64 gig SanDisk microsd I happened to have laying around. Not sure if this device would play well with non SanDisk brand cards (some devices are picky) but you should be able to use any size microsd card and it should work.

QuestionWill this work with a LCD Picture Frame?I have an older LCD photo frame with a USB port. If I plug the ScanDisk device into the side of the photo frame will I be able to transfer photos to the wireless ScanDisk device through my laptop or Ipad and it will show up on the LCD photo frame?

- Answer I have not tried this, but it should work. It is really overkill for a photo frame. Save some money and get a lower cost USB 2.0 drive.

QuestionDoes anyone know When transferring Photos from Device to Device, is the Raw Data preserved & transferred- thanks!Photos have Raw Data attached to their Files, which is important in Reproduction. I just wondered, when transferring that there would be No Loss in THIS DATA.; OR is it Dependent on ANY SOFTWARE in USE; I.e. APPLE IOS ? - Answer You should be fine. I am an amateur photographer who shoots in raw and sometimes adds gps info to my pictures. The data is stored in the file so it will travel from usb to hard drive and back to usb without losing any of the "unseen" information.

- Answer This item is a home base to connect to it by choosing wifi. You connect your phone to it that way but in no way can it be used to check emails or online. This should be able to be used in your location because it only transfers wirelessly as it acts like s wifi hot spot.

- Answer you can transfer them back and forth, easily is another question as my iPad is old. I suspect it would work well on a new product or at least a younger product

QuestionCan you stream files TO the flash drive over wireless?It it possible to write/delete files wirelessly, or only read files from it? I.E. can you stick it into a computer, have it turn on, and then come in with a wireless device (does it turn on wireless automatically?), and read/write files from it? will both be able to access the files on the flash drive at the same time? (similar to a shared drive?)

- Answer You can copy file from your device to the flash drive via the wireless connection. Streaming implies that you are viewing/listening to the content as it moves via the wireless connection. Copying the data from one device to another device is just data transfer, not streaming.

- Answer I don't believe an iPad has a full size USB port, so there is no physical way to connect it (unless apple sells some kind of USB dongle). But you don't need a physical connection to move photos and music from your iPad to the Wireless Flash device. Just connect to the Wireless Flash Device using the SanDisk Wireless Flash app and select the Phone Gallery option from the main page. This will allow you to select photos from your device to transfer to the Wireless Flash Drive. Not sure how to move music...

- Answer You can access it wirelessly while plugged into a USB charging port. However, if you plug into a USB port where the device is accessed, it seems to disable the wireless feature. So, don't plug into a car or radio USB medial port to charge, plug into an auxillary USB charging port and it will work and charge at the same time.

- Answer You cannot transfer copyrighted material to a flash drive from a kindle and if you could you would have to convert or rip the file to be compatible on what ever you intend to watch it on, T.V> Etc.
