I bought one and answered my own question. Yes you can set this up as a boot drive for Windows, although instead of cloning I did a clean install. Am now booting and loading programs much faster. Great buy!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would spend the extra money on an internal sSdnthrn even attempting it u won’t be spending much more for a decent internal. I would get a 250gb internal ssd because they are so cheap to use as your systems OS and the external did a good job reading and writing external files and acted as the primary sd when I needed It to. I guess the choice is yours. Idk if u can put the OS on the external I do know games and other applications will run off it as long as ur USB ports are 3.0 enhanced or you won’t see any speed increase.
