“When you "transfer" pictures from the iPhone to the Sandisk ixpand, does it MOVE or COPY or do you have your choice? In other words, does remove the pictures from the iPhone or leave them there or do you have a choice?”

It will copy the files and ask if you would like to delete the existing files from your iphone and free up X amount of space. You have the option to decline.

It copies the photos and videos and then you have the choice to delete them or not.

After copying the files to your drive, it'll ask you if you want to delete the photos off your phone

You have a choice to delete them from your iPhone on transfer or you can leave them if you want to. You are prompted to answer if you wish to delete prior to doing so.
