A:AnswerBefore purchasing, I did read that over heating is a common issue for this little guy. Still, it should not be overheating after a few minutes of use. I've used it and have not had any concerning overheating issues, although I have not used it extensively.

Converted music to MP3 and downloaded to the flash drive. Currently have a variety of 152 artist on mine.
They do get warm but not hot.
