I think some cameras show you the number of pictures you are able to take. You may be able to see that number in one of the corners of your LCD screen. You can format the disk in which it will erase everything that was on the card. I recommend copying the pictures onto either a desktop computer, laptop, or portable hard drive in case you or someone would like to print out a picture that you took.
