Great question! The SANUS Elite Advanced Full-Motion 4D + Shift mount allows horizontal (left/right) adjustment during installation. This step is shown on page 10 of the instruction manual — when attaching the arm assembly to the wall plate, it can slide side-to-side along the plate to fine-tune the TV’s placement.
Just be sure the arm assembly stays between the lag bolts for safety, and tighten the locking screws once it’s positioned where you want it.

While your 98" TV is under the weight limit, the screen size exceeds the mount’s specifications, so we can’t recommend it for your setup. A:AnswerThat is how the Geek Squad installed my 85” Bravia 9 on this mount. It should be fine since the upper load limit of this TV is fairly low, but ask yourself if you want to risk it. I don’t have kids and if it falls off the wall it’s on Best Buy and no one gets hurt. If you install it and it falls down, no one to blame but yourself (assuming you install it). If you have kids around definitely wouldn’t risk it unless you contact Sanus support for clarification and get thumbs up from them. Their support is very helpful.
