“How to use the lateral adjustments? The wall mount is level but the tv is not. We have tried to make the adjustments, but when the tv is extended and placed back flush on the wall it tilts to one side. When we level the tv against the wall then it tilts when the tv is extended. How would we fix that? We have made adjustments to the two screws on the back and we still have that problem.”

From your description it sounds like you are having some issues with the weight of your TV. Some TVs weigh more on one side than the other. Often simply sliding the monitor brackets in the opposite direction laterally can often cure this problem to better balance the center of gravity on the TV.
