• The VLF220 is only designed to accommodate TVs up to 56" so it is not compatible with your TV. A mount that is compatible with this TV and can be set up to only tilt sideways is the XF228.

• Not sure where the 56" came from, because the description clearly states "Sanus - Full-Motion Wall Mount For Most 37" - 65" Flat-Panel TVs - Extends 20" - Black Model:VLF220-B1SKU:9847895" and is below the maximum weight capacity of the mount, so it should work
